Massage Equipment

In addition to a table, massage therapists need other basic equipment: sheets, blankets, neck pillows, heating rocks, and creams to reduce friction on the skin. Massage therapists can practice in health clubs, resorts, chiropractic offices, their homes, or any other convenient place.

Other massage equipment and features include a body positioning system mat to aid massage therapy, and a glove system that helps professionals give seated massages. Besides portable chairs and mats that a therapist can travel with, a therapist also offers an electric foot and wand massager and seated massage chairs. Try a massage stone set and kit. And don't forget about a luxurious or at the very least, a comfortable home spa Jacuzzi bathtub. Spa massage chairs, and portable tables and accessories are available to accommodate everybody's needs.

Massage oils are also a necessity. Oils are used for relaxation, stiff muscles, for raising the spirits and as an aphrodisiac blend.

Massage therapists, gives seated massages as well. Clients can sit on a portable massage chair while the therapist rubs their necks, backs, and shoulders. These massages are shorter than standard massages, which last between 30 to 90 minutes. Seated massages usually last 15 to 20 minutes and can take place almost anywhere, including office buildings, shopping malls, and community events. Because seated sessions are brief, a therapist might see as many as 10 clients in a day.
